Thank you Amazon, It doesn’t warm up like 90% of other brands in the EG market.But be aware the hand blender contains plastic in the bottom hidden around the blades so does not appear in photos, I wished it was all from stainless steel.

No warranty claim for this item. *Wrong Information*
I purchased this item 7 month ago and as customers we search and pay for the best items for our use. After 7 months of usage this blender suddenly stopped working out of blue. When contacted to amazon they enlightened me that this item doesn’t have warranty??? How? Are we living in stone age? Every electronic does have a manufacturing warranty of one year and the information about this product doesn’t say it that it doesn’t have warranty. It’s misleading and extremely wrong. They let me buy external warranty from another source and they are not helping as well. It means i throw my money in the dustbin.Extremely disappointing purchase.

A real asset in the kitchen
I bought the Hand blender when the old one (very old) broke down. Another Kenwood I thought and I found the 600Watt triblade HDP 109WG. That curved blade sees off the lumps the old blender always left and the motor is stronger and deals with the soup blending a treat. The whisk is a bit fast but soon got the hang of that and batter is made so easily. The chopper blends the salsa nicely and the measuring beaker is an asset in the kitchen. The set gets a lot of use and the gadgets are a simple twist of the wrist to change from one to another. Very good value. Altogether a worthwhile asset.

Not the best quality
So first of all, the lid of the chopper broke after a few use. The chopper still works with the broken lid but considering how much I paid for the hand mixer compared to other brands, I must admit I am very disappointed.The worst part is the whisk attachment. I have to say this is absolutely ridiculous. I used it for making pancakes, and NEVER used it again.When I tried to mix dry ingredients, I lost half of the ingredients in seconds. The whisk has no stability so the powders went out of the bowl. It did the same to wet ingredients as well, eggs and milk went all over the kitchen wall. I used a deep and big enough bowl to mix these things but it didn’t matter. The whisk seriously lacks stability, it swings around to create a mess. Completely unusable.The mixer attachment is very bulky (wide) so it is kind of awkward to use. Also, it is unnecessarily very shallow so it scratches the bottom of a pan when I use it for making a soup, which was the main purpose of the purchase. It doesn’t matter how carefully I use it since it is shallow to the point the blade touches the pan.The design is nice but it is cheaply made, doesn’t feel sturdy at all and the quality isn’t there. I just don’t know why this costs significantly more than other products. It doesn’t have any extra value to justify it.Overall, I’m not happy at all. I used to think Kenwood was a reputable brand hence I was happy to pay £100 for a hand mixer, however, this product changed my perception of their brand negatively. I don’t recommend buying this, not worth the price at all.

Not so good as my old Kenwood Stick Blender.
I bought this new blender as my very old one was beginning to make a horrible screeching sound when I used it. I bought one from a well known kitchen company which was useless and was sent to a charity shop.I researched in ?which and it recommended this one but I am not very happy with it.The first time that I used it it didn’t really blend anything at all and was about to go the way of the other one but then I noticed that it has a maximum-minimum sliding setting and also a turbo button. If I use it on maximum with the turbo it does an OK job. I am keeping this as, if this came out top then I can’t expect better but I can’t say I am impressed.The little blades are exactly that – little and short and they can’t really do so much because of this. The blades on my old blender were much longer and it did a much better job.It is OK to clean but not brilliant as the round base bit that the blades sit in has a sort of edge thing around inside where it has ridges that make it harder to clean. I use a brush but it needs some care to really get it clean.

OK machine but some idiosyncrasies
Wanted a hand blender with single piece stick and blades, so this looked goodBlender works well in deep and loose liquid, but not so well in more dense stuff. There are no vents or holes around the blades to allow liquid to pass through, so gets clogged very easily and doesn’t move the liquid around if it’s a bit thick. Also generates a vacuum/suction if you get close to the side or bottom. Very good with a loose liquid such as a soup.Cleaning is a pain as can’t use dishwasher (come on, it’s 2024!) and the parts that need cleaning are quite intricate or only small spaces to get a brush into.The processor attachment mistakenly took a trip through the dishwasher and it’s basically screwed now, and funnily enough the water managed to get into the enclosed part of the attachment but nothing including an extended evaporation attempt in a 40 degree oven will get the water out (I read instructions, but not everyone in the household does grr!).Well made and solid feel, but that’s the least I would expect for the price.

On 30 December 2024 the main blade broke, it broke into 2 pieces.
I bought this blender for £84 on 22 April 2023 and I used it occasionally, not often, in the kitchen, as I also bought a large food processor MultiPro Excel FPM910 directly from Kenwood, which I use much more often. On 30 December 2024, I made mayonnaise with this blender and during the preparation of mayonnaise, the main blade broke, it broke into 2 pieces. Thank God, no one was injured. The blender is under 2 years warranty. How can I get a new blender instead of the defective one or a new attachment with a blade?About Amazon’s help desk: They forwarded my request for a defective blender directly to Kenwood. But Kenwood told me they couldn’t help because the blender had a one-year warranty. If Amazon gives a 2-year warranty, then contact Amazon. The circle is closed! Amazon sends to Kenwood, Kenwood sends to Amazon. I have two questions: 1. Why does Amazon indicate a 2-year warranty on its website but doesn’t fulfill it? 2. Why do I need to register additionally on the Kenwood website to get an additional warranty if Kenwood doesn’t provide it? Do they care that I’ve been using various Kenwood products for over 20 years? Too bad, because in that case I’ll have to forget about the existence of this brand, as well as this marketplace. I’m not one to forgive or forget deception.

Great kit, but not as good as the old model
I love my Kenwood kitchen gadgets, but this particular one is a little disappointing. I love the versatility of attachments as I can do more with it than with my old single Kenwood blender. Unfortunately, what I used to is it for daily, I can’t use the new one for. The head is too big and not as powerful as the old version. It is great to have an alternative head but it is also a really big size so I can’t blend small portions of dressing or sauces as I used to before. A real shame. Companies should learn not to try to fix that are not broken.

Just upgraded from the old white Tri Blade, some 10 years old and tired, this is so much better, easy to clean and all attachments can we washed easily in dishwarer or by hand, VERY powerful blending just happens now, no fighting to get all the lumps it just powers through anything

It’s good But…….
Everything is good about this stick blender except… I purchased this item in May 2022 used the puree masher twice, stupidly the second time I did not remove the masher tool from main blender part and knocked the whole thing against my hand to removed excess potato..which it does beautifully by the way, and one of the tiny plastic lugs and I mean tiny just sheared off so be warned.I contacted Kenwood and owned up to my error, I could have fibbed but I didn’t and to my dismay as this device is so new they have not got any parts for it, well they had better get a move on as they will be inundated…unless everyone fibs. I bought this for the masher which is all I have used it for, I think I will have to suck up the cost and pass the remains on and buy a more robust masher.

One of my best purchases of 2021
Bought for use in my first home. The food chopper and the potato masher work so well. I was not expecting them to be as good as they are. Food chopper works a treat and is well designed so you don’t need to keep stopping to shake or move the food back into the blades. The masher works so good and rices soft boiled potatoes quickly and easily. I have used the blending attachment to make silky and smooth soups. This is that good that I don’t need to but any other food processors even though I had originally intended to
